American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Lifeguard training at the YMCA teaches the skills necessary to respond to an emergency in an aquatic environment. The course will teach you lifeguarding skills, CPR, and AED use with skills in basic first aid. Participants must complete e-learning, attend all days of class, and pass an exam in order to become certified.

Next Class: March 6th, 7th, and 9th

  • March 6: 5-6 p.m. (pre-swim test)
  • March 7: 5:30-8 p.m. (Classroom work)
  • March 9: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Pool skills and test)
*Must be 15 years or older.

Members: $200 | Non-Members: $250
