Lace up your boots and explore the beauty of the Kandiyohi County Area! The YMCA's free Outdoor Adventure Series offers three guided hikes through the Willmar Area's scenic trails.
Family-friendly and perfect for all levels, these hikes are a great way to get outdoors and experience nature. YMCA members can bring a non-member for free! Join us for an adventure this summer!
MAY 17
Robbins Island
Meet at Shelter #1 at 10 a.m. for a 30-45 minute walk around Robbins Island.
JUNE 6
Sibley Park
Meet at Lake Andrew Parking Lot in Sibley State Park at 10 a.m. for a 3-mile loop with incline.
JULY 19
Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center
Meet at the main parking lot at 10 a.m. for a 45-minute hike on grassy trails with incline.
Do I need to sign up?
Yes. Please sign up online or at the Welcome Desk. Registration is free!
What should I bring?
Bring a water bottle and some good outdoor hiking/walking shoes.
What if it rains?
In the case of inclement weather, the hike will be canceled. Pre-registrants will be notified if the event is canceled.
